1. Why is it necessary to clean the air purifier?

1.1. Protect health

Air purifiers help remove pollutants and dust particles from the air. However, if the purifier is not cleaned regularly, dirt can accumulate and pollute the filter membrane, reducing air filtration performance and efficiency. Cleaning your air purifier helps ensure that it functions optimally to provide fresh air for your family.

1.2. Increase filter life

When the air purifier becomes contaminated and dirt accumulates, it can cause damage and reduce its lifespan. Cleaning the purifier periodically will help protect and prolong the life of the air purifier, saving maintenance and repair costs in the future.

2. When to clean the air purifier

The time it takes to clean an air purifier at home depends on the air quality and usage level of the machine. To maintain the performance and health of the air purifier, a reasonable cleaning frequency is about every 1 to 2 months. During this period, you should clean the machine to remove accumulated dust and ensure the machine operates in the best condition. Following a cleaning schedule will help your air purifier operate effectively and maintain your home’s air quality.

Step 1: Disconnect the power source to ensure safety

Before starting the cleaning process, make sure that the air purifier is completely turned off. Then, remove the air purifier from the installation location to facilitate the cleaning process.
